Calibrate the digital compass (magnetometer) on a Samsung Galaxy S

There is many ways (Google is your friend), the quickest way I found is the following :

• Install GPS Status : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eclipsim.gpsstatus2&hl=en
• Start it and go the Tools menu
• Choose Calibrate compass
• Do what you’re told ;)
